Winner of the TV show *Prodiges*, young cellist Lyam Chenaux devotes his debut album to the Spanish musical imagination. The record creates a dialogue between the folk traditions of Falla, Albéniz, and Cassadó, and Spanish-inspired pieces by Ravel, Fauré, Glazunov, Shchedrin, and Piazzolla. Between dance rhythms and lyrical flights, the cello displays all its elegance and poetry throughout a program filled with passion. For this debut release, Lyam Chenaux shares two duets with cellist Gautier Capuçon, as well as a collaboration with guitarist Thibaut Garcia.
